I need to use eggs!!! We have 6 to 8 coming in every day and I have hardly been home in the last week, so today cooking was in order.
jam drops for school snacks - 2 eggs
curried eggs for Darren's sandwich tomorrow - 4 eggs
piklets for school snacks - 2 eggs
pasta sauce - no eggs, but I will make fresh pasta tonight - 2 eggs.
I was aiming to use a dozen, I nearly got there.
Everything looks yummy!!

those jam drops look so yummy. Reminds of when I was a kid!
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! And I loved your kitchen pics on Rhonda's blog...especially the antiques! I'm interested in knowing more about the piklets. Little pancakes? Looks very interesting.

Dianne
p.s. I have chickens too and make a lot of angel food cakes (12 egg whites) and pound cakes (6 whole eggs)!
Just wanted to drop in and say how much I enjoyed looking at your kitchen pictures. Your kitchen looks divine!
ReplyDeleteHi, I just found yuor blog and I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed reading it! I too have an egg surplus at the moment (2 chooks, but only 2 of us in the house) so your post has given me some good ideas!
ReplyDeleteHowdy, just found you via Rhonda Jean's blog, and I love your kitchen pics.
ReplyDeleteI have had a look over your blog and became a follower.
I need to get some cooking done this weekend too, shame it goes so fast. We keep chooks and I think I have near on 4 dozen eggs sitting in my pantry so thank you for the inspiration and the ideas to use them.
I have been looking at Michelle Bridge's site and that 12 week challenge is tempting. Am going back there now to do some more reading.
Have a great long weekend,
Tania
