I have been busy freezing the glut of eggs I have so I will have some to bake with when the chooks stop laying.
I followed the advice of Kate fromliving the frugal life
I only put half of the amount of salt in the mix and put 5 eggs in each bag.
1 egg = 2 blocks.
I will mix up some eggs with honey for another batch as soon as I've sourced some local honey that is.


  1. Fletcher Jones markets Sue, there's a lady from Yahl (I think) that has honey.

  2. I read about freezing eggs on that site when she posted on yours.

    they look odd though.
