BOUNTY

This is what I collected this morning from our patch. The tomotoes have ripened in what seems like overnight. This is the last of the beans and some of the carrots are a little woody but I will use them in a chicken stock this afternoon.

How's your patch going?

  1. Oooh! Horray for fresh tomatoes. I haven't has one in months. We have enjoyed last summer's bounty in soups and stews this winter. I'm just now getting to the point where I'm craving FRESH tomatoes again.

  2. Yum. We've had roaring success with tomatoes this year but the fruit fly have arrived now. Lettuce, mini eggplants, herbs, corn and zucchs are being picked.

  3. The tomatoes would be worth about $10-$12! You'll save heaps, well done! There is nothing better that a 'real' tomato.
