SPAGHETTI SQUASH

We ate our spaghetti squash just like, well spaghetti.
It was delicious with home made pasta sauce poured over the top.
Here is the raw squash cut length ways ready to go in the oven. I baked the squash with olive oil rubbed over it for around 40 minutes.

All cooked. You just fork out the squash and it comes out like spaghetti. It looks so cool.

Okay, so it doesn't photograph well but it is so yummy.

It was a winner with hubby and all of the kids eating it up without complaint. I only have two squashes left on the bush and really wish I had more now.

  1. I haven't met a squash I didn't like. Spaghetti squash is delicious! I'm growing Australian Butter Squash (looks like a pumpkin) this year because it's an excellent keeper. I still have one leftover from last fall's harvest, and it's destined to be a pie soon. : ) Melissa

  2. I love spaghetti squash! Can'T find it here though so it's been over 25 years since I've eaten it.
your salad in the previous post looked great too. we eat a lot of avocado in salads. The good kind of fat for sure!
Have you been feeling different since you've started to eat a little more meat protein?
